Fall Assessment
The leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injuries in older adults are falls. Roughly 20 – 30% of falls result in significant injuries such as hip fractures, broken bones, and head injuries. These injuries reduce mobility, independence, lead to nursing home admissions, and increase the risk of premature death.
An added benefit of Scott’s Pharmacy is a fall assessment of your residents. This fall assessment evaluates the patients’ conditions, medications, as well as their environment.
Get rid of paper & start documenting electronically
In addition to compliance packaging Scott’s Pharmacy also provides electronic medication administration records (eMAR). Electronic MARs improve your performance and compliance. Documenting electronically allows your caregivers to easily record medication administrations, PRN dosing reasons, vital signs and more. These records are stored electronically and can be readily retrieved during an audit or inspection.
